About Redemption Roasters in Coal Drops Yard

Redemption Roasters was set up in 2016, after the Ministry of Justice approached its founders about a roastery in a prison. It now runs barista academies in four prisons and says 34% of its shop workforce are people it has trained. The Coal Drops Yard shop sits under a Victorian brick viaduct on Lower Stable Street, with breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, lunch, indoor and outdoor seating and beans to take home.
